The Su-15 was one of the most secretive fighter interceptors made in the Soviet Union, it was a delta and compound delta tailed fighter with similar configuration to the MiG-21, it was a very early attempt to create an aircraft with guided missiles in the Soviet Union, its missile armamant was rather primitive to today`s standards and barely better than the early american AIM-9 Sidewinder AAM in range
